Secondly – Email settings are sync’ed only from your computer to your iPhone. If you decide to make any changes to your email settings on your iPhone they won’t transfer back to your computer. This is pretty important because you can sometimes mistype information on the iPhone’s little keyboard and if you sync shortly after, the iPhone would then corrupt your home computer’s email settings if it wasn’t for this nifty little safety feature.

It goes without saying – I learned these two lessons the hard way. Hours and hours of frustration, wearing my poor keyboard’s keys down to nothing and all I came across was little bits of information about the email features. It only began to make sense once I put these two key facts about the email features together.
